Jaguar SS OHV Tourer

The SS1 Tourer model came at the market in 1933 with an 16hp & 20hp side valve engine and crash gearbox.
In 1934 they were up-rated with a newer type side valve engine also available in 16hp & 20hp and synchronized gearbox and bigger brake drums and this version continued until the end of 1935.
In 1936 they were renewed with a stronger chassis that had a longer wheelbase which created also more room between the rear & front seats and were fitted with an improved gearbox and modern overhead valve engine and improved brakes and suspension, it was the last version of the model but also the best driving version of the model, today only a few survive.

The car here mentioned was bought by me from a long term U.S owner, when I purchased the car it was just fully restored and looked very nice but mechanical wise it was a mash, so we needed to rebuild the engine and gearbox and rear axle and steering box and suspension and brakes all again.
More pictures will appear over time.
