Jaguar MK VII Farina Convertible Project
This 1951 Farina bodied Jaguar MK7 is a one-off car, four chassis were send by Jaguar to the Farina establishment in Italy in order to build four special bodied cars, one convertible (our car) and three coupe's.
It's a beautiful car and was new supplied to the Belgium Jaguar importer, from origin the car was black but at one stage the car went to Argentina were it was repainted in gold and nicknamed Golden Arrow, in a later stage it returned to Belgium again now repainted in bright red, I purchased the car from a Belgium Doctor some decades ago, it was technical wise and body wise in very pour condition but mainly still in it's original configuration.
The body and brightwork and trimming were restored in order of us by a cooperated company with us in New Zealand.
All mechanicals, engine - gearbox - diff and rear axle - front axle - suspension - steering set-up were rebuild and assembled and fitted at our workshops.
The car now being part of the most prominent Jaguar collection of the Netherlands.
More pictures will appear over time.
